AI AT WORK

Two free courses on using AI well at work.

One for people who are new to it. One for people who use it every day and now carry professional responsibility for the result. Take them yourself. Give them to your team. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to buy.

COURSE 1 · ABOUT 2 HOURS

AI at Work: Foundations

For
Employees who are new to generative AI, or who have started using it and want the rules.
You leave with
A one-sentence understanding of what the tool is, five habits, three lines you do not cross alone, a “before you send” checklist, and a certificate of completion.
Format
Six short modules, one sitting each. Checks after every lesson. Four workplace scenarios. Works with or without an AI tool.
COURSE 2 · ABOUT 4 HOURS

Responsible AI in Practice

For
People who already know how to prompt and now use AI in work that carries their name, their client, their license, or a decision about someone else.
You leave with
Ten rules you can defend to a client or a regulator, real cases, two hands-on prompt labs, a personal AI use policy, a 20-point checklist, and a certificate of completion.
Format
Seven modules. Branching scenarios. Labs run live inside Claude; on this site they run as copy-and-grade exercises.

Which one first?

1. Have you used a generative AI tool at work more than a handful of times?
2. Does work you produce with AI go out under your name, to clients, or into decisions about people?
3. Could you explain to a coworker why the tool sometimes invents a source?

How to use these courses

On your own.

Open a course. Progress, scores, and certificate stay in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere. Finish a module in one sitting; come back for the next. Clear your browser data and the progress is gone, so download the certificate when you earn it.

With a team.

Suggested path: Foundations for everyone in the first month, Practice for anyone whose work carries their name or touches decisions about people. Each course has a team discussion guide (Foundations, Practice): three questions per module, 20 minutes, no slides. Managers can ask for the certificate PNG as a record of completion.

What the certificate is.

A record that the holder completed the course. It is not a credential, a license, or a statement that the holder’s work is compliant with any law or policy.

Dates in the content.

Both courses describe the law and the public record as they stood on their edition date, shown in each course’s footer. Laws change. Check anything you plan to rely on.

Why these are free

The people most exposed to these mistakes are rarely the ones sent to a paid class, so the class comes to them. The habits in these courses are the ones we want from everyone we work with, on our side of the table and yours. The courses stay free, and the content stays ours.
